Is MediWay charged to the patient?
No. Booking is free for patients and helpers. The transport itself stays covered under the usual health insurance conditions.
Is a medical transport prescription required?
Yes. The journey starts with the prescription issued by your doctor, as for any reimbursed medical transport request.
What happens to my prescription once uploaded?
It is stored by an HDS-certified host and is only accessible to the people authorized to organize your transport. Retention periods are listed in the privacy policy.
Is my usual transporter on MediWay?
You can look them up when booking. If they are not registered yet, you can send them the sign-up link.
How do I register as a transporter?
Sign-up takes three steps: your phone number, your activity and your vehicles, then your legal information. You then get access to your plannings.
Who has access to my data?
Only the professionals involved in your transport, and for as long as needed. MediWay does not sell any data.
